Photographs

Photographs on RepairHearth are licensed stock images, downloaded and optimized for this site. They illustrate appliances and repair situations in general — none shows a RepairHearth customer, job, technician, or a specific city. Their licenses don't require attribution; we credit every photographer anyway.

Before-and-after photos and video

Each before-and-after pair combines licensed photos of the same condition on different appliances — stock libraries don't offer photos of one appliance before and after a repair, and we don't present them as if they did. None shows a RepairHearth job.

The narrated video is built from those photos and our own text. The narration is a synthesized voice (a text-to-speech voice built into Windows), and the captions and transcript match it word for word. There is no music.

ZIP code data

ZIP code recognition uses postal code data © GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Recognizing a ZIP code is separate from provider coverage.

Population data

Metro population figures used in our market research come from the U.S. Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program (Vintage 2024). The coverage map outline is a simplified drawing of the contiguous United States.

Illustrations and diagrams

Appliance icons, diagrams, before-and-after illustrations, maps and share images are original artwork. They don't depict real homes, customers, technicians, or completed jobs.
